"Guided by you" care model

At Amavir centers, our clients are the protagonists of their own story. Our “Guided by you” care model is intended to empower and give visibility to the elderly who opt for or require our care, adapting the environment to their requests, either directly or indirectly, to make our home their home.

This model of care encourages residents to continue doing the activities they find worthwhile, to continue pursuing their dreams. The goal is to treat clients as the protagonists of their own care. Each resident decides what kind of care and accompaniment he or she wants and the home is organized to support each individual’s needs and well-being based on a few basic principles: individuality, privacy, and empowerment of the elderly.

All residents have their own Personalized Care Plan, created upon admission, and reviewed periodically with their families. This plan is intended to ensure that each resident receives the most appropriate care for their situation, needs, and preferences (adaptation to the home, treatments, diet, rehabilitation, psychological care, cognitive stimulation, and leisure activities). Our goal is to anticipate, maintain, and improve our residents’ health, enhancing their autonomy and slowing down their deterioration.

At Amavir we offer families different alternatives so they can choose the option that best suits residents’ needs. Our nursing homes offer single and double rooms, in addition to a large number of state-contracted spots at all our centers. We also have numerous day centers, ideal for the elderly who wish to continue living at home while still enjoying activities that are beneficial for their physical, cognitive, and emotional condition.
